I Was Caned At School

@SteveH1954 We had some surprise inspections like that. They appeared to be completely random, just a few classes from different years. Anyone caught with prohibited items was caned during the next break. I was caught a few times.

@SteveH1954 we had some bag and body searches by teachers looking for cigs and chewing gum , ones found with anything got a Friday afternoon trip for the cane and sometimes my mother would come along and witness my caning

@skimpyboy We didn't have to wait like that, we were caned very soon after being caught. Usually when there was a spot check for smokers, the headmaster or deputy head. was ready with a cane to deal with those caught almost immediately.

@Lynda70 my sin was chewing gum which was one stroke and the wait was to get my mother present and i had the cane on my bare bottom .

@skimpyboy We weren't supposed to have chewing gum at school but a lot of teachers would turn a blind eye to simple possession. Even chewing in it school wouldn't usually earn more than a few whacks with the slipper.

@Sharon my school was one stroke but smokers got the full treatment of six strokes , the only thing with a one stroke punishment was that the teachers would try to add extra strokes for other offences like talking or messing about while we waited

@skimpyboy I don't of anyone ever getting just one stroke of the cane, as far as I know all canings were at least 2 strokes. In general slipperings were at least two whacks too but one whack of the slipper wasn't totally unknown.

Smoking or even possessing cigarettes was an almost automatic six of the best.

@Sharon smoking or being caught with cigs at my school was an automatic six strokes punishment , the one stroke chewing gum caning did normally end up at two strokes , in first year when i attended the lady heads office with my mother i ended up with three strokes and one hundred lines and once my mother even undressed me in the corridor because see was in a rush to get to the shops

@skimpyboy Even in 6th form, when we were old enough to legally buy cigarettes, we could still be caned if we were seen smoking or in possession of cigarettes on our way to or from school.

same @Sharon same at my school . i saw a prefect waiting to be caned after she was caught by the head girl and taken to the heads office ,

@skimpyboy Quite a lot of us fell foul of that one.

yes and no one could find an excuse like chewing gum , i had a form teacher who give 100 lines if we were caught eating sweets and the same again for talking in registration

@skimpyboy We usually got the slipper for things like that.

@Sharon did you ever get lines or detentions ?

@skimpyboy Yes, but very rarely. I got the cane twice for skipping detentions and once for failing to do lines.

@Sharon we got two chances to do our lines but the second chance they were doubled failure to complete then left you at the mercy of the teacher but a caning was the normal result , in Gym we got gym detentions if we messed about

@skimpyboy We got the slipper first for failing to do lines and given another chance to do them. If we still didn't do them, as I didn't that time, we got the cane - 6 strokes.

@Sharon that was very harsh but them were the rules then and our teachers loved to cane given the chance and my bottom received a few strokes over my five year stint

@skimpyboy The teacher slippered me the first time but, when I still didn't do them, sent me to the year head for the cane. I was quite a regular for both the slipper and the cane.

@Sharon i had four visits to the lady head in my first year and mother undressed me to make sure i got a proper caning and twice i was undressed in the corridor to speed things up

@skimpyboy I got the cane twice in my first year at secondary school. The first time was only a few weeks after I started there.

@Sharon my first caning was on the last day of the first term after being reported by my form teacher for persistent bad conduct , i was due for two strokes but ended up with five strokes

@skimpyboy My first was for repeated general misbehaviour. I just got two across my knickers.

@Sharon that was about right , i know mine was two but extras were added , think one was for delaying a stroke and another for having my short trousers too short

@skimpyboy I often got the slipper for having my skirt too short. ;)
