Yes. I went out again last night. Why? Idk. And not dancing. Just went to a karaoke place. It actually started out really fun. Then the jerks showed up.
And I know that at least half the problem is me. My tolerance for assholery is so low. Why is that? Ugh, idk. 🤦

@SW-User Well last night it was one particular guy at one particular karaoke bar in Maryland, but jerks in general seem to be a theme in my life.
And please don't take me wrong. I know that real men, good men, gentle men do still exist. I have great examples of such men in my life. I'm just venting about last night.

@sarabee1995 there will always be a vast range of personalities. There are lady jerks too. The ones who try and get their boyfriend to fight in a bar.
The problem with male jerks is that you never how far they will take things.
I always thought it was funny that the biggest jerk of our group was the white-collar runt. We would be constantly be telling the guy to leave people alone.
@SW-User Oh! Yes of course! There are plenty of female jerks out there too. This post is not at all speaking to that problem, but I firmly believe that they (female jerks) are partly responsible for the behaviors that I find so repulsive in the male jerks.
But I'm not worried about how far they (the male jerks) would like to take things. I am VERY capable of defending myself.
