I Want to Tell You a Funny Story

So I finish taking a shower and I decide it's time to put in new contact lenses. I put them in and go happily on my way. I SEEM to see fine; I look across a lake and see crystal clear. All good, right? Weeeell, I go on my way for about 3 hours taking the dog out watching TV. Still all good. Then I decide to start reading my book Insomia by Stephen King. I start getting pissed, everything is super blurry I try at arms length, still blurry, I look outside, crystal clear. MY EYES GOT WORSE!! NOOOOOO!!! OK now look back at my first two sentences in this post. What step is missing?? Don't worry, it took me a while too. Suddenly it came to me! MY GOD, I forgot to take my contacts "out" and just put the new ones "in"... Wow... 😑 but at least my vision hasn't degraded in a couple hours! 🤣

Oh, and anybody wondering. Wearing 2 contacts in each eye does not mean you see twice as good...
