I'm looking at this after looking at your winter snowstorm picture. This one was posted on August 24. It's easy, in the middle of a snowstorm, to look at a picture like this and ask, "Did August 24 ever really exist?" 😄
I often play that game with myself with regard to the contrast in seasons. If I am walking along in subzero weather, I try to remember what it was like to be walking around in sweltering hot weather, and vice versa. I often find that it is impossible for me to call to mind what the "opposite" weather felt like when I am braving the elements on one extreme or the other!

@Carla One of my wife's pet peeves is how calendars show winter scenes in the winter and summer scenes in the summer. She figures that she does not need to see those on the wall -- she can experience them when she goes out! She would rather have calendars show the opposite season.
So, for Christmas, I got her a calendar from Australia!
