I Believe That Looks Arent Everything

Years ago, when I was young and pretty, I dated a guy who had been born a thalidomide baby (his mother took a drug during her pregnancy that caused him multiple deformities). He had a twisted leg requiring a brace, walked on specially built crutches, and his face was ugly, scarred and deformed. He was a genius and an all around fascinating guy. I was attracted to him because he was extremely intelligent, creative, bold and brave, afraid of nothing, and a whole lot of fun besides. He was, amazingly, a great dancer and would dance around during the disco era waving one of his metal crutches. He also was very witty, had a fabulous sense of humor.

Now I will tell you the actual main reason I broke up with him. I swear it's the truth.

He had too many other girlfriends!
