I Feel Helpless
Dear you,
I cannot explain how it broke my heart when I saw you cry. Nobody should have to live on the streets like you have to. When you lowered your head and burst into tears, I felt your anguish and desperation. All I could do was buy you tea, something to eat and to tell you to take care. I have thought about you ever since. Seeing you, another human being in so much pain broke me. Yesterday night I lay in bed and wept for you, for your pain and despair.
I will never forget you for as long as I live. I hope one day soon, life will be kind to you. You were and are not just a man on the street, a nobody. I care and I pray you will find the strength to endure this time and that one day, the sun will shine on you.
