I Have a Request

This request goes out to everyone, but mainly those who post political things: if you post something political could you please be willing to share your viewpoints and facts on the matter when questioned? I am truly interested in learning from others who don't share my same opinions and who do! But when people post politically charged things and then don't even want to hold a dialogue it is hard to try to understand and it makes us all more set in our ways that "we are right" and "the others are wrong". Through open-mindedness and dialogue we could all actually learn from each other rather than creating opposition and tension. The only way to convince others that you have a valid point is to educate them, and right now mostly I am just seeing posts where if someone asks questions or challenges an ideal, they are shut down, or simply get rudeness in response. That isn't education. Nor does it help anyone understand one another. It only causes divides. I will always listen to opposing viewpoints as long as they are articulated more so than simply "I'm right and you're wrong". Please can we all try to articulate more and spew hate less?
