I Battle With Weight Issues

Over the last few years I've been on a bit of a see-saw with my weight. Of course there are factors to consider, primarily crazy work hours, erratic eating habits, ones metabolism, activity level, and state of mind - and I don't mean to avoid responsibility by naming these factors. Indeed I pay attention to what I eat and the amount I eat.
Recently I dropped 25 pounds and am hovering between 209 and 212, standing at 6'2". That's an okay weight though I've noticed changes. I don't have "wings" anymore but I'm slimmer. My definition (in my view) is more a suggestion. I'm fairly active (swimming, rowing, hand weights are my main sources of exercise) but far from being an athlete. I could qualify as a spectator for any sporting event you could name.

The main thing that helps me is, I eat what I want just not a lot of it.

In my weight loss I have a medical condition that makes it hard to lose weight, but I've found that working out regularly like 3+ days a week and just a all around change in my diet really helps. If I was you the first step on the diet part it switching cerial and breads with one's with lots of fiber and also cutting one sugary thing that you have a lot. It makes a hudge diffrence

I allow myself to eat what I like, but like you it's only in moderation. I also try not to say yes to every single craving because I'm very aware just how hard I'd have to work to burn off those calories I didn't necessarily need.

Congrats on losing those 25lbs! You should be very proud of yourself :)
