I Like Certain Smells That Trigger Good Memories
Scents and flavors. I love the ones that send you right back to a moment you completely forgot about.
A burger that tastes just right sends me back to a grill out at the lake when I was about 7 or 8. Nothing in particular happened to make it a significant time. It was just a simpler and peaceful moment. I didn't trust the water, so I walked around with my dad, collecting rocks and seashells.
It's nice. There weren't a lot of those moments after a while. Things got too complicated so I forgot when it had been something like normal with my family.
