I Like Unexpected Gifts

I feel like gift giving now days has lost its appeal. It's easier to give gift cards or ask what that person wants, rather then putting thought into giving someone a nice unexpected present. I've lost interest in my birthday and Christmas, but it's nice when I get a good birthday present that I wasn't expecting.
