I Am Not Strong Enough

I'm tough, but I think that has a different meaning to me.
I think strength is something you have at your core. "Tough" is what you have to be when your core isn't strong enough (yet). It's a surface strength, outer, something unreliable. That's not a permanent state though. If I work on the core instead of the shell, then I'd be better off. I spent too much time and effort working on that shell. I know that now.
