I Want to Know What You Are Doing Right Now

I'm watching "What's New Scooby-Doo?" with my autistic brother.

What about you?

Is that the one with the opening song by Simple Plan?? Love that song.

As for me, I just came home from work. Sipping on cold coffee and scrolling through SW. Maybe I'll read and update some of my writing for my friend later.

@LadyAlera Yes, it is :) For me, the theme song and the rock music in general that's used intermittently are the best parts of the show. The comedy writing has its moments, but for the most part, it usually falls flat and not even the masked villains are very interesting, so for me, it's not one of the better versions of Scooby-Doo :/

A cup of Joe is always nice, but I prefer warm coffee :P And that's cool that you got to go to work today (I wish I had been called in!)

To be honest, I haven't seen any of them recently to have an adult's thorough critique of the show. But judging by my child-self, I seemed to have enjoyed it lol. Though I think the older versions scared me a lot more. But that's likely because I was even younger while watching them. I was a scaredy cat :P

Haha so do I. I just let it sit for too long and it got cold. That's cool thatr you think cool that I got to work today lol. I personally would prefer not working, but alas, the rent will not pay itself :P

@LadyAlera Yeah, I enjoyed the show as a child myself, but from my adult perspective, I definitely think the older versions are a cut above this version in terms of quality (even some of the ones with Scrappy-Doo in them, if you can believe that).

And I only wish I was working more so that I could be independent and not have to live with my parents anymore. I don't hate them, but I am not the biggest fan of them either. I think we all would prefer to just have money sent to us in the mail that we didn't have to work for and live on that for the rest of our lives :P

@SubZeroSlays808 Hmm...I'm not a fan of scrappy. Not sure why though. But I do remember there being a show that I'm not sure had anything to do with scooby doo that involved these kids. There was a frankenstein like kid, a mummy girl, some weird spider lady, and a werewolf kid. I think I really liked that one...even though I can barely remember it.

lol well I still live with mine. Honestly, I think if I moved away, I'd end up coming over to their place a lot anyway. Plus if I had too much freedom, I'd be up to no good. So I think this situation is best for me for now. And yes, it would be very ideal not to have to work for our money lol.

@LadyAlera Oh, so your parents charge you rent to live with them? I'm lucky that mine don't.

I don't think any of us were fans of Scrappy, but I didn't find him nearly as annoying as so many others apparently do. Unfortunately, that other show you described is one I either never heard of, never watched as a kid or never saw enough of to be familiar with :(

@SubZeroSlays808 Well they don't want to, but the rent kind of expensive and they need help. Even a couple of my brothers left their cheap accommodations to move in so they can help with the rent also.

True. I didn't find him annoying. I just...didn't care for him. He wasn't very memorable. Well maybe it was it's own show and scrappy made appearances. I dunno, it's hard to keep track of these spin offs lol. If it even was a spin off. In relation to the old versions of the show. I think Scooby, Shaggy and Velma were always my favorites.
