I Don't Think The Grass Is Always Greener On The Other Side

I remember applying to work at the shelter that I am currently having to help at right now.

I now see what it would have been like and I'm glad I didn't get the job

It is annoyingly hectic.
You can't take a break(currently hiding)

The people act like little kids sometimes.

There was another job I'd applied to that I really wanted. That place shut down like a year or so later. Would have been out of a job had I gotten hired

It can be. What you have to do is distract and disconnect yourself from negative people and things. Don't entertain them. Don't kiss up to them. Don't pet or cuddle them up. Just stay in your space and take care of you. Ok. 🙂
