I Am Not All About Music, I'm Mostly About Music

@bijouxbroussard I was watching the Soul Train movie and I didn't known Don killed himself ,,,it bummed me out seeing that ,,so I wanted to hear some of the music his show made hits ,,well the artists made them hits ,but he showcased them

I was raised in a country family ,lots of musicians
But every morning before school (in junior high )
I treated my girlfriend and close friends to a trip to the donut shop
then to the cafe that had a juke box and good coffee ,I treated everyone to an hour of soul music .every morning ,it was out routine .
Some of my fondest memories were in that cafe ,the waitress kept the coffee coming and they loved my song selection
Al Green ,Barry White ,Gladys Knight ,Curtis Mayfeild ,Marvin ,Tina ,
the Tops and the Temps ,OJays ,,so many good artists of the day .

I liked rock too ,and I would play the country for my Dad
but I loved R&B ,Soul ,it just put me in a good mood before starting a stressful day
I am glad I was born in one of the greatest generations for music
It helped me in so many ways
