I Hate Winter So Much

Gotta tuff it out. Think about the people in the Midwest and how hard they get it

Many years ago when I was in the reserve forces I got together with a few fellow officers for a drink at the officers mess. It was -20 F and there was a good stiff wind from the south east. Three of us showed up in our uniforms and our warm great coats. The forth showed up in uniform and a light trench coat. We all kind of looked at him as if he were nuts. He explained he had just spent 6 months at CFS Alert in the high arctic and that this weather felt like a spring day in comparison. He went on to tell us about a flight that came in so they took the staff car with brand new tires down to the runway then back to the barracks. It was about a mile long trip. By the time the car got back to the warm hanger it needed a new set of tires. The cold and snow had taken all the tread off the tires.

We’re envious. And who said we’re surviving? 😛

45F is cold? It got to like -20F for over a week in Winter in Minnesota. I just dress in layers and don't go out much.

It was 41 here today and we were all out in tee shirts it was so nice.

In Florida too. The cold is fun for exactly one day lol

I don't know how Floridians stand 85 and 90% humidity.

45 is quite nice to be out in. The air is clean and fresh and you don't sweat.
