I Have a Younger Sister

I have a few younger sisters. Only one of my sisters is older than me. Two of my younger sisters are bioligical and two are adopted. Both adopted are turning 18 but only one is graduating high school this year. I'm trying to help her get started in her adult life by taking her to get a driver's permit (our parents refuse). When I finally manage to get a new car, she can have my old one. I love that car, but it probably only has a year or two left. Good enough for her to practice in and hold her over till she can get a job and start looking into getting a "younger" car than mine.

It's strange having such an age gap between us. I practically raised the kid. I was in high school and our parents just dumped the kids on me to take care of until I left. So I'm very proud that she's graduating because I've taken care of her since she was born. I even taught her to read.

She's kind of a space case though; not very aware of her surroundings at all. She'll probably crash the car. I don't know if she'll make it on her own in life, but I guess I'll see. There was a time I didn't think I'd make it either, but I'm managing just fine. Sometimes people aren't as poorly prepared as they seem.
