I Have a Job

I am permanent part time, I earn $2 above minimum wage. I am a cleaner at a supermarket, shit pay and today I had to clean it all by myself. It was surprisingly fun, i had to use the gas (not fuel) powered buffer. first time using it and my god it was loud but i had some ear plugs, which helped a little bit. I feel proud of myself, I never thought I would use it, i always thought it was a scary piece of machinery.

So are you on night crew(porter) or one of the day staffers. Get some head phones/ Some music to listen to. So you don't have to hear the loud musix over head.

I clean mornings, while there are staff packing shelves etc. I usually only clean the toilets, staff rooms and mop the floors and there's another person using the machinery. Just I did it yesterday coz they were sick. and the supermarket have their own radio station and they have played the same songs for two months straight now.
