I Am Real And My Stories Are True

Cynical Me I Guess.... Maybe I'm just not the trusting sort but I do take the time to wander this site and I do wonder the truthfulness of many...oh so many of the stories I read. Heck I wonder if the authors are who they say that are. I have no problem with fiction I just don't get why folks need to pass fantasy off as fact? Doesn't make a story less interesting if you know it is made up...or at least I don't think so. Oh well just figured I'd put words to my thoughts. No harm done either way I guess.

There is a great number of people on here who are sad and lonely. Trying to pass themselves off as more than they really are is just another way to draw attention to themselves. I feel for them but shrug my shoulders and wish the best for them.

I agree with you in thinking that a good piece of fiction can be just as interesting as real life.
