I Am Enjoying Being A Muslim

When the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) says: [quote]“Be patient”[/quote] remember this advice comes from one who lost both parents and buried six of his children during his life. Sometimes patience and silence is better than expressing how I really feel.

Desires make slaves out of kings and patience makes kings out of slaves. Through patience, great things are accomplished.

The fact is that islam is fatalistic because its god never answers. The muslim can never hear his voice or feel his love because allah is not real. Yes one can find solace in empty words or as I have experience find solace in the Truth. One day after my youngest son died I was still in shock when in a vision I saw two spiritual beings coming toward me. One looked like dust in a sunbeam while the other one looked like cloths wrapped around a body. The one that looked like cloths was the most striking since there seemed to be a light shining through the cloths. Suddenly the one that looked like dust spoke to me and in my dead son's voice said, "Dad you really have to trust in Jesus". As he said that he indicated toward the one wrapped in cloths. It was then that I realized that my vision was of the grave. My son was burned up and thus appeared as dust. The other was Jesus who though dead and buried wrapped in cloth is alive and the Life was the light that I saw flowing out from the cloths. I was immediately comforted and went about my task. A few days later my daughter who is next in age to my departed son phoned me and told me about this vision she had. There were two beings one looked like dust in a sunbeam and the other was shining through burial cloths. Yes I believe in Yahweh because of what He has shown me not because someone wrote a book.

@hippyjoe1955 With my respect to the memory of your beloved son. Visions are never a solid proof of God, there are spirits live around us and they can give you all visions you need to deviate you from the straight path.

@Madeleine Yes they are or else you are calling mohammed a liar. On that point we can agree since he showed muslims how to lie. However the difference between mohammed's visions and my and my daughter's is that they were the same vision given to two different people who did not discuss it before both had received it. Not to mention which I have had other visions that have proven true over time. The vision tells me what will happen and it comes to pass. In fact the proof of a prophet is not the visions but the coming to pass of the visions. mohammed was a false prophet because nothing he prophesied ever came to pass. I am not a false prophet when I speak by the Holy Spirit because it comes true.

Respectfully, I do not believe life is a test or that God tests us. Love. I believe God is only love. There is nothing greater.

@Windsylph There are murderers on this earth and people who commit all kinds of crimes. God doesn't love corruption and injustice.

@Windsylph Likewise. I agree with you on this point though. Yes, God does not love the deed, not the person, that's why He sent us guidelines so will be able to improve ourselves and repent from our bad behaviors. The test of this life is for our actions, not us as people.

For instance, a thief is only a thief when he steals, but once he quits and repents, he's no longer a thief in the sight of God.
