I Enjoy Silence
Sometimes I just want the silence that comes with trust.
When people come to me expecting a response, sometimes I just want to stay quiet. I hear them. I listen. Doesn't always mean I want to, but I do. And I act based on what I hear.
But when it's my turn to speak, I learned there's not one person who can hear the silent plea for comfort that comes with the silence.
And when I think of this, I give them silence.
