I Am Dealing With Pet Loss

i miss you my friend.. i never wanted this day to come that i had to let you go.. for the last 7 years you were my work buddy.. it was always a joy to get to see you on the farm and i will definitely miss your presence there. you were always so kind and sweet always came up to me to be petted. ill miss you getting excited when ever another cow had a calf and you always wanted to be the mother of the new born even if it wasnt yours. i really will miss loving on you.

This is quite beautiful. Many people see cows as only as a food source but they never get to see their sweet and gentle nature. My grandfather worked on a dairy and my dad used to help out at times when he was a kid. One of the things my dad shared is how adorable the cows were and how they used to follow him around like dogs, seeking and giving affection. I'm sorry for the loss of your dear friend. It sounds like she was a beautiful soul.
