I Am Dealing With Pet Loss

i miss you my friend.. i never wanted this day to come that i had to let you go.. for the last 7 years you were my work buddy.. it was always a joy to get to see you on the farm and i will definitely miss your presence there. you were always so kind and sweet always came up to me to be petted. ill miss you getting excited when ever another cow had a calf and you always wanted to be the mother of the new born even if it wasnt yours. i really will miss loving on you.

@SW-User that's awesome! My fam had pigs. We had calves at one point and I got to give them milk 😊

pigs can smell. aw the pig manure some farmers spread in their fields.. wheeew. plugs nose

does your family still farm? a lot of farms around here are starting to close up. they cant afford to farm.

Just crops. No more livestock. Getting to be fewer and fewer small farmers and more big farmers. It's expensive for sure

yep. a lot of the small farms are going out and some medium big farms around here are going out because they cant make it in the dairy as milk prices are so low that most farms are losing money.

Isn't fat good for you, though? Your body needs it actually, for the skin I believe

yes some fats are needed.. they are broken down some are turned into lipids for cells. some are used to make hormones.
