I Love to Play Volleyball

I am part of a volleyball team for adults. We play every Monday and Friday after work. Friday’s game one of my teammates jumped up to spike and hit another teammate pushing him to the ground. He got up and finished the game.
Today he didn’t show up. I asked his wife where he was and she told me he broke a rib in the fall. I feel so bad for him. I’m thinking about baking him some cookies or something. He is probably going to be out for season now. But I’m not sure.

I miss playing volleyball. Playing on an adult team sounds like fun. I feel bad for that guy though 😅

@Effloresce Yeah, it's tons of fun playing on a team. My sorority plays intramural volleyball and softball with the other Greeks. One of the best parts is the BBQ after the game (when the weather's nice!).

Yeppers, bake the cookies! He's in a world of hurt right now. Just breathing in and out he'll feel twinges. I had two 'hairline" cracked ribs when younger and it took 4 months to heal.

Damn that sucks. Some of my coworkers wanted to play basketball but it hasn't happened yet
