@IronHamster: I see where you're coming from. Which means you have a time to plan an excellent escape for when the moment is right. Children grow up and leave home. After that point they become a poor excuse to stay in any marriage that you don't want to be in. So you have a while to stash money, hide assets and break free when the moments right. Or stay as you are till you die - which I would say means that actually you're quite happy in the situation because if you were truly miserable then you'd escape at the earliest opportunity.
@Paliglass: I'm trying to outsource. It's harder than I thought, scheduling between two jobs, two husbands, and two sets of kids, or between all that and plane schedules. Just the thought that it is possible gives me hope, though.
