I Like to Be Barefoot

I was waiting for a taxi with my girlfriend last night to avoid getting soaked in a huge summer thunder storm. When none came after an hour we slipped off our shoes, hitched up our dresses and ran back home through rain-drenched streets. Running barefoot in warm summer rain is quite exhilarating . . and it saved us a fiver! 😌

@Fangirlsarah1996 As indeed did we . . once we were inside my front door! Wet clothes can lead to chills, so it is best to get out of them as soon as possible 😌

Aww poor girls... but barefoot in the warm summer rain is definitely better than hoping around in taxis 😊

I was in York yesterday luckily the rain held off but I still walked around barefoot 🙂

Did something similar a couple of years ago. Damn lucky I didn't get struck by lightning, but I was pissed off at being stuck inside and had sightseeing to do, dammit! :)
