We tried rolling our skirts to make them as short as possible, much to the displeasure of the staff. If caught, a whack or two on the behind with a slipper was not unusual! The pain of fashion! 😄

It never changes. My daughter had notes home to us about her rolling her school skirt up too high.

Funny now she works at a University in student recruitment. She phoned her old school to organise a talk on finance and it was her old head of year. She said to me as soon as I heard her voice I pulled my skirt hem down. 😂😂😂
