I Had Or Have To Wear A School Uniform

Our school colour is purple, for some reason, so there is a bit of a theme here 🙄 This is the uniform that is worn by year 9 girls:

Day wear: Grey skirt, white blouse, purple blazer with gold piping and school crest, black tights, black shoes, white socks (optional in the summer), straw hat (compulsory when we are outside the school gates)

PE kit: Purple rugby shirt with school crest, black shorts/skirt (depending on activity), hockey boots/trainers for outdoor PE.

Purple polo shirt, black shorts for indoor PE.

Purple leotard for gymnastics and dance.

Bare feet for all indoor PE, worst luck 😒

Our school never had gymnastics or dance, sadly. Do the boys at your school have to wear the leotard too?

@MilanoBoy It's an all girls school. We have a partner boys school, but gymnastics is not on their curriculum. They do learn dance though so we can have an end of year ball together!

@SW-User Oh, okay. What kind of dance is it, like ballet and stuff? I wished my school had gymnastics, I think that's the coolest sport ever.

@MilanoBoy Latin and ballroom for the end of year ball. I also do ballet and modern.

@SW-User What kind of stuff do you learn in gymnastics, and is it like just a class or do you actually have a competitive team? Those leotards they wear are really cool too.

@MilanoBoy We learn a little in PE, but I belong to the school team so we mainly practice for competition. My best event is Floor.
