yea ,,I drank my share and yours ,
now my liver is damaged and I am not a candidate for a transplant
But I was not expecting to live this long
its crazy all my friends who never drank and smokes or partied like a rock star are dead ,,and I'm still going ,
maybe Billy Joel -was right ,, Only The Good Die Young

@SW-User yea ,I wanted to be a rock star and I was one
But fame has a price ,,
when you get older you realized it was not worth it ,,
my peers are doing something new ,,playing and rocking it out in their 70's
Not me ,I am worn out
but I am happy with my family now days ,
Its Ok to play man but moderation is key ,
When you are worn out and today they can fix anything
but not you ,,your to worn out to repair ,,,and your liver is full of fat
so no transplant ,,and now the meds you need to live are hard on your liver
then you wish you had slowed down a little earlier ,
I now have a son who is coming up on 11
Its no so funny when you pray "Lord please just 8 more years so I can see him graduate high school ,,
We don't think about those things when were young
Live hard ,die young ,leave a handsome corpse was my motto
Who would have believed I be the last man standing
I was the one with all the health problems in my band ,we all assumed I would be the first to go ,,
We buried the lead guitar player first ,,then the drummer ,
Lights and sound was killed in a wreck ,,June while rehearsing for an upcoming gig we did every year ,my bass player went out for the count
I am Rhythm and lead vocals ,,the last member left ,,praying for 7 more years
then liver ? Heart ? lungs ? and a bad back
But I lived a life most would kill for ,I won't complain
But it was filled with a lot of pain
mainly caused by drugs and alcohol ,,I am paying for it now
Have a good one ,,,don't play to long ,,MODERATION
