"You're the Love" (1978) – Seals and Crofts [I Like 70's Music]

[youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4VMd7VFKV8]

Lovely disco-flavored song by the soft rock duo, Seals and Crofts (Jim Seals and Dash Crofts).

“You’re the Love” reached #18 on the US singles chart and #8 on the Canadian singles chart. The song did better on the Adult Contemporary chart in both the US (#2) and Canada (#5).

It was the last song by Seals and Crofts to make the Top 40.

And today Jim Seals turns 79 years old. Happy birthday to Mr. Seals.

The only song by Seals and Crofts I've ever heard is Summer Breeze.

This is my first time hearing any of their other works.

@Sidewinder "Summer Breeze" was one of their biggest hits. They also had a few other hits in the '70s.
