I Have Multiple Sclerosis

Musings of a person with RRMS on a hot day.

The temperature goes up, everything slows down.
Muscles tighten up, no reason why, takes more effort to move, it hurts.
Pain in the head, dehydrated but can't drink properly as heat causes neck muscles to stop working, exercises suggested don't help.
Dizziness is worse, feeling it constantly, even when lying down or eyes are closed
Words arent easy for me, speaking causes confusion for everyone as sentences dont make sense
So tired, too warm to rest, let alone sleep.
Anxiety, will it all go when it gets cooler or has the heat caused a relapse and this will be how it is from now on.
Anger that I can't ignore the problems it causes, that I have this condition.
Fans, cool packs on wrists and neck to cool down blood temperature as it circulates to help, count down the minutes until the heat and humidity away.....
