I Like The Rebel Flag

So what does it mean to you?
Do you know what it means for others?
Is that important?

back in American history when many were coming thru Ellis island, many Jewish people were illiterate,,
so when they said I cant sign my name, I cant right

[[c=#7700B2]quote]it's okay just make an X
[/c]

[c=#800000]
NO i wont make an X, will an O do?
he would not make an X because for him it was the way many jews were crucified,, up on an X shape in eastern Europe
[/c]
the Yiddish word for an O was Kikle "circle" hence the derogative name they got at that time "Kike"

I am a southerner,, and tho I got an idea as a young child it wa a symbol of tradition of history and honor

Later I learned how much it scared friends of mine.

How should we deal?

It's not the actual confederate flag, it was used because the real confederate flag and the US flag were 2 similar and caused problems on the battlefield. It's a battle standard only.
yes! you understand that difference..
yet that meaning is lost on a lot of people
they see that images as meaning something else
