I Think Of You

I was hardly home over the past two weeks. I left food on my table by accident. Now I have a rat at my place. We’re playing hide and seek. I’m going to take the life of this intrusive varmint when I catch it. Will you be mad at me if I do so ? 😲
SW-User
No. He's invaded your home! It's self-defense now!
SW-User
@SW-User Wasn’t it you who had a pet rat ? 😵
SW-User
@SW-User no, but I do think pet rats are darling.
SW-User
@SW-User *googles how to be a pet rat*

I'd say that's fair. The rat doesn't know any better, but neither do people born without a conscience. It doesn't make them acceptable. It's unfortunate and sad, but part of life.
Reject · 26-30, M
@SW-User Oh! I see. I find them interesting too. Most of them lack empathy so they don't feel guilt. I mean can you imagine not feeling for people when they're hurt? That would definitely change your ideas of right and wrong.
SW-User
@Reject I dont condone their actions though. I think people like that could only be helped by locking them up.
Reject · 26-30, M
@SW-User Personally I feel like locking them up is a waste of resources for someone who will always be a threat to society. I'd say study them if you wish, but dispose of them afterwards. They have no place with other people.
I've never seen a rat that wasn't a pet... our pest guy has traps set out as part of our service, so I hope to never see one.
@SW-User I'd be more worried about how it got in :s
SW-User
@AcidBurn This is a big doll house. I’ll need to spend a few hours inspecting every nook and cranny.
@SW-User it'd be worth it.
SW-User
What an apportune moment to think of someone. 😁
SW-User
@SW-User Fine, but when you wake up, it's rat killing time!
SW-User
@SW-User Two more hours. Cut me some slack okay 😏
SW-User
@SW-User Don't forget this..

kate21 · 26-30, F
Nope. Gotta do what you gotta do.

I had a mouse I my apartment but we learned to live with one another well enough. He was very incompetent and could never figure out how to get in the cabinet, so I didn’t care.
SW-User
@kate21 This sounds almost cute.

I had to kill a rat in my garden.
He was the size of a bulldog puppy. I hated seeing his stiff body there, before binning him.
SW-User
*mildy bothered at the thought of an abysmal sized rat*
GeniUs · 56-60, M
It didn't help I'd named him as we did the dance of death over the preceeding weeks, farewell Fatboy, I'm still sorry I poisoned you.
SW-User
@GeniUs I do not appreciate your remorse. He is not of this world 😵
Coppercoil · M
They cool.. but they poop on everything and have diseases you don't want, so death or a live trap that you can take him out and dump it in a field somewhere.
SW-User
@Coppercoil He didnt come home yesterday 😒
Coppercoil · M
@SW-User hehe.. he knows you know.. he's strategizing.
SW-User
Kill it with extreme prejudice
SW-User
@SW-User I’m holding nothing back. 😒
SW-User
@SW-User excellent :)
