I Fear That I Will Never Survive Motherhood

I just had my baby boy on the 5th September by c section and I feel like hell.

Barely can walk because of the pain and am an emotional reck... my hormones are all over the place and I just don't know how I could get through the week. I honestly don't know how other mothers have managed to get through this.

Oh and breastfeeding is another story... I barely have anything ...

To all the mothers out there.. need your advice on how to make it through this without breaking down ...😭

You've had a major operation, people forget that. While others get to rest...you have to "perform". I don't know your situation. If you are still in hospital try to rest and take pain meds if needed. If at home, try to get help, someone to bring the baby to you for feeds etc. I am afraid the first few weeks is a matter of weathering the storm. It gets easier when you feel less incompetent. As for milk -speak to doctor - if you have to go to bottle so be it. My son went to bottle from two months (and I know they were supplementing him in hospital from birth) and he is fine. Hang in there.
