I Fear That I Will Never Survive Motherhood

I just had my baby boy on the 5th September by c section and I feel like hell.

Barely can walk because of the pain and am an emotional reck... my hormones are all over the place and I just don't know how I could get through the week. I honestly don't know how other mothers have managed to get through this.

Oh and breastfeeding is another story... I barely have anything ...

To all the mothers out there.. need your advice on how to make it through this without breaking down ...😭

Congratulations ! Don't be hard on yourself, most mothers feel similarly at such an early stage. Day 2/3 post birth can often end in tears as your hormones adjust. talk to your doctor or nurse, whoever you have to support you, they can monitor you going forward. Your hormones won't settle immediately and you're probably not sleeping much. Take whatever help you can to relieve the pressure and don't be afraid to admit you need some help. The first few weeks can be a dark blur, just no one tells you that beforehand, good luck 😊
