I beg to differ.. I lament the loss of respect generally but I do think kids should be free to express their opinions, to disagree when that's how they feel, and to speak up when things are wrong..AND to joke around... all mine did.. and I wouldn't have had it any other way...

I don't want robots or obedient imbeciles.. I want kids with minds and opinions :)

@SW-User I'd happily tell your mom but thing is she won't listen! All parents do things differently.. and to some extent all parents f*ck their kids up... but imo violence or harsh discipline aren't necessary and don't work.. they just cause resentment
