What is your favorite detective / mystery book series? And why?

I really like Kinsey Millhone by Sue Grafton, Alex Mcknight by S. Hamilton, Cormoran Strike by Robert Galbraith. I read all the books of these series.Right now I am enjoying Jack Reacher by Lee Child. I am on book 5. I guess I like their loner personalities, sense of humor and intelligence.

Have read all the Reacher books, he is great. Peter Ash is another loner, Reacher type. By Nick Petrie. My favorite is David Baldacci. He has several series , all are great. I did like all of jack Higgins books, although he has stopped writing I think. Daniel Silva, Michael Connelly, Christopher Reich all are good.
