I Am No Stranger to Rejection
Here is a rejection story not, for a change, my own. I heard a young writer tell this one at a party full of artists and literati.
He got a script into a major TV studio through a friend who was the story editor for a show.
After several weeks, he emailed his story editor friend:
"What happened to my script?"
He got an email back:
"Your script. Put through shredder. Twice. Dropped out of airplane into Pacific Ocean at 20,000 feet."
