I Hate Society

Why is it that people get offended so easily now a days.
It's like the most little thing will start a big deal over the news, social media. Why?

Aww I am going to come out on the other side and defend society.. I think people don't get more offended.. it's that people, in general are less polite, less considerate and all too fond of giving their opinion while not listening and respecting others'.
