I Don't Fear Death

Just how i die is the issue. i prefer something quick like being smashed by speeding truck driver or just chop my head off. i fear drowing, burning and suffocating like in the case of being trapped in an elevator running out of oxygen theres no signal and theres nothing else you can do to save yourself
Everybody says they want a quick death, but if you talk to people who have worked in hospice, they will tell you that as long as patients are not in pain and get good care, often they appreciate having that time at the end of their lives.

One of my friends recently passed away from a degenerative lung disease. He knew he was dying for the last two years of his life, and I know he appreciated having that time. Although he had excellent care, was surrounded by family and friends, and his pain was managed. Without that I guess it's better to go fast.
My friend was not in pain - he had plenty of morphine. And when he got to the point where he could no longer get out of bed, he had them wheel him to the back porch, where he did what he had to do and moved on.
thats wise tbh but i dont think am the kinda person that would wanna be in excruciating pain in my last few hours. and well said having friends and family around sure is a great way to leave
thats nice. i just hope that if i get to that point therell be people willing to tend to me without thinking of me as a burden
