I Am A Speedo
started competitive swimming at age 8 - haven't ever worn anything else - and frankly, I think we're getting WAY too prudish about the male form being shown in public or semi public - women get away with wearing swim wear that's nothing more than a few swatches of thin fabric held together with strings - you can almost count the hair follicles through the material - and on the backside, it's nothing but butt floss - so why, may I ask, is everyone so up in arms when a guy wears a good looking, comfortable piece of swimwear???? Ladies, board shorts are just plain UNCOMFORTABLE - it's like wearing an oversized wet burlap bag - seriously.
Speedos - or swim briefs, as the generic term applies - have long been the beach tradition for males in Europe - why do we have to be such prudes and have a literal double standard here????
And don't hit me with 'hey - some greatly overweight guy with a speedo is just gross' - what about the same for women?? Judge judge judge - that's all that we seem to do these days - judge others - and really who cares????
I may not have the 'swimmers build' I had at 18, but I'm still pretty fit - and I'll wear my speedo, thank you - if you don't like it, look elsewhere.
