I Love Jesus, Because He First Loved Me

Ever since I was a child I was obsessed with the love of money. Even now over the past few years I’ve been praying to God ever so earnestly that He may bless me with a massive financial windfall! It even brings me life to go out and buy a lottery ticket. But I’ve been getting mixed signals of what I am doing is right or not.... I’m sure God would allow me to go out and buy a lottery ticket. I even believe He would prepare me to know what to do if I did win big. But you know what I’ve even heard that this obsession is sinful.... So I was just thinking right now Lord what If I repented from the Love of money and replaced it with the Love for You. And then He kissed me upon my forehead! So then I wrote this! What if I worked hard to pay of our debts, what if I stopped spending foolishly, what if I replaced the love of money with the Love of the Lord?

I wish he loved me. I've never asked for the riches in life yet he never took my side for the rightful stuff I deserve.

I've just learned to expect less because maybe he doesn't love me. I'm not saying he's bad but I am tired to dealing with pain anymore.

@SubstantialKick @Montanaman @saintsong I agree and I'm really trying to believe that. It's just that the pain is overwhelming and as I've stated, I've never asked to be rich or anything else. I've asked him for the peace and I've prayed so much asking him to help me or even be by my side. I just wish he could have prevented a lot of things that happened.

I'm not against him but am just upset because I wish he would just listen.

That sounds like a good plan. You won't win the lottery. It's a waste of money to buy the ticket. Seek first his kingdom and his righteousness. Never buy anything you don't need while in debt. Live simply and think of ways to serve him.
