Not very protected from storms.

@BexEyes no but it does keep nearly all other predators and risks at bay .......

@BexEyes I seen a thing on the news ,and it looked like the same stork ,but it was on a tower in Russia
A wild fire cleared the land all around the tower that nest was on ,,but the eggs and stork were all safe
after the fire had cleared everything ,the eggs hatched out
Now its not have been the same nest ,but it sure looked similar ,,and I though
How cool that guy just posted about those storks

@rckt148 along this bit of Portuguese coast - the Fishermans' Way - photographed at this time of year, every pinnacle and parapet has a nesting pair of storks - the male and female take turns to go hunting for food or minding the nest through the day - the swap over is just a second or two - making sure no scavenging gulls snatch the eggs 👍️

@SailingSlow where I come from we have eagle nests ,hawks and owls everywhere ,and lots of birds you see no where else and wild life there is protected ,,but I never noticed a stork hatchery ,,though we do have storks and ekrids ,Great Blue Heron ,Spoonbills.pink flamingo ,pelicans ,sea gulls ,pipers
I guess I only noticed eagles because there are so many of them now
