I Believe In Fictional Characters Are Real

There's no proof that they are or are not real, but there's been plenty of instances throughout human history that have been debunked, proven to be true or false, discovered, etc. In terms of fictional characters being real or not, one could apply this logic as well as the theories of multiple/parallel universes. In other words, just because we as human cannot currently perceive or measure said universes with our available technology doesn't discredit the existence of such.

Either we haven't discovered the technology to do so or perhaps beings in these other universes choose not to be seen by us (given the destructive human nature of most humans). But the universe in itself is a vast cosmos that takes light years to travel. Perhaps certain worlds of fictional characters have come and gone?

So many theories 😆 As for me, I believe they're real along with aliens, fae folk, deities - all of that stuff that's deemed as "nonsense" to some. The universe is just too big and complex to say that we're the only beings of intelligence that exist in it.

Summary: As of present day, there is no physical evidence to prove the existence of fictional and multiple/parallel universes by human standards. However, the future is never certain nor guaranteed. Things can always change.

As for my own convictions, I'll be optimistic and open to the idea of fictional and multiple/parallel universes existing.

The afterlife is not a belief for me but a certainty. How could you explain some fictional universes that have been created have this mysterious strength that make them so real ?....
If life after death is possible, if all these incredible things in this life are possible, why couldn't our characters be real ? Feel free to talk about it in PM, it's been years and years I've been searching for people to talk about it ...

@meJess I'm sure the Earth being round was considered "fictional" for its time. As I said, there's no way to prove with our current technology that it is indeed "fictional" or not. For now, its another term we use along with myth, folk/fairy tales, and so forth.

Many inventions we have today were just ideas, imaginations, thoughts, and concepts in someone's head until they put pen to paper and began working on it. And depending on that era in time, it was either possible or impossible to create it. Hover cars and decent VR were just considered "fiction" but we're getting pretty close to reaching those things.

Perhaps the existence of multiple/parallel and fictional universes won't be discovered in our life times but who knows what the future holds?

In other words, anecdotal evidence is not reliable evidence for any and all claims since bias is a significant factor.

The laws that our universe follow cannot be broken, the only reason our understanding of it changes is due to the fact most people let their own bias, hubris, sentimentality and compulsive need to romanticize everything around our needs and wants get in the way.

In a sense, it is ironic that fundamental laws can only be understood by eliminating every possible source of human influence.

They are based on real people many times.
