I Am Mentally And Physically Exhausted

I am finally able to take a deep breath and believe me after today I need a couple more. A call at 6am started it and here I am still at a hospital. After being sober for almost 12 years a fellow employee started drinking, had a very rough night and so here we are. Unfortunately life became a bit too much for him and he’ll go back to an alcohol treatment program on Monday.
Glad to say damage to people or property during his wild night was minimal - a few broken bottles here and there, and a door will probably have to be replaced but all that was within the confines of his house.

Thanks to a dose of Ativan he’s sleeping so I’m going to grab some food.
