@dunpender I know of the riding I live in had its elections stolen three times by the same person. She was called Landslide Annie. She would win the election with just a few more ballots than the other person. In one about 33 ballots in her favor got her elected. After 3 elections documented proof was shown that she had an extra box of ballots that would mysteriously appear when the ballots were being counted. Or people would vote based on their place of business and not their place of residence. Once it was shown to be happening she lost the next election and was never heard from again. In the mean time she was an extreme leftist who was in the federal cabinet. The problem is two fold. No one wants to believe there is electoral fraud going on and the winning party certainly isn't going to do anything about it so long as they are winning.

@dunpender Where there is a will there is a way. There is an old joke in Newfoundland that the Premier was taking the Prime Minister around in an open car. The crowds were lining the street and waving and the PM and Premier were standing in the car waving back. The car went through a cemetery and the PM being rather tired sat down. The Premier chided him. Please stand sir these are my most loyal voters.
