I Fear For The Future Of America

From The Rubiyat by Omar Khayam: "I saw a wild one, crazy like a coyote, riding the bucking bronco of the Earth, nature-raw, unbridled, unconcerned with decorum and with neither blasphemy nor Islam, neither World nor Faith, without the holiness of Truth and Law, not trusting anything at all. Now who in our two worlds has the courage of such a beast?"
I hope at least some around here can see something other than anti-American hate in my posting this. Fifty years ago, in school, we were taught to try patiently approaching different cultures, their customs and arts, trusting that with a little work to overcome our confused first reaction to Other-ness, we'd soon recognize its beauty and humanity. A few snickering bullies ready to mock the differences were shamed. Now it's different: budget cuts, and the pervasive electronic nurse-maid keeping people content with their ignorance, have so weakened our schools that now the ignorant mocking bullies have risen to power in this country and others. Might makes Right and the learning I just described is for unpatriotic gay-tards and lib-tards. But first-year psychology students can recognize in White supremacists' brazen pride the pathology of hiding their genuine shame of Europeans' savagery against Africans and Native Americans, and now for our widespread brutalizing the Islamic world, the chief cause of fake-Islamic "Death-to-America" fanaticism as we recklessly slaughter innocent families along with fanatics and tyrants. Are children even taught any more that raising fists never persuades anyone, and gets you nothing but another fist in your face? Can you recognize my analysis is not hatred of White America?
