Been Listening To Them A Lot Recently

Back when I was younger, what they represented; that fun and carefree time in not only my life but of a generation. Of 'Girl Power' and of just doing what the hell we wanted....

I guess this whole year has been leading up to that; being confined and restricted...of fear...concern...of worry.

...and the Spice Girls were - are - the complete opposite of that...

'Wanabee' - a statement of intent. You wanna hang with me? You gotta like my friends too..

'2 Become 1' - A partnership. A Love song.

'Mama' - I always sing this to my mum....

...they are still the soundtrack to my life and, certainly, the soundtrack to my year..
