I Think A True Connection Is Rare
But it happens. Often like lightening, or a tidal wave. Sometimes only a glance across a room will show you someone's eyes burning brighter than all others, almost begging to be seen. Sometimes you talk and something slips out. You apologise but they get you 100% and you talk about it for hours. When that conversation is over, there can be little more to say and you drift apart.
Those encounters teach us that infatuation, those brief moments, are just that: moments. Life partners are not moments. You uncover things together, frustrate each other and align your dreams and goals so that you get to do a lot together towards them, and some apart. But always the movement towards those dreams is there, and gives a warm fuzzy feeling inside. That's worth a whole bunch.
