I Like Horror Movies

I love horror movies. My favorites tend to be the suspense horror that keeps you on the edge of your seat over the gore hack and slash that seems to be the normal horror films of today. Don't get me wrong, Gore is fun for a spell but it is the unseen monster that stalks you through your dreams that keeps me up at night!

I'm a fan of the Universal Horror films of the 30s and 40s. One that is very interesting is The Black Cat, starring Bela Lugosi and Boris Karloff. Not a real long movie, but shot in B & W, and as I say, an interesting movie. I was also big on Werewolf/Wolfman movies as well.

@soar2newhighs I will have to look into that film. I am ashamed to say I have not gone into the older horror films but it seems to be a missed opportunity for sure.

@Montanaman Well one I really enjoyed recently a friend told me about was the Babadook. As far as my favorite I would go with The Thing. It kept me guessing till the end...and even then you never know the truth which I loved. Oh and Alien was amazing....yeah I might not be able to pick a favorite lol.
