Crazy ideas
I had a wild idea. But the more I think about it, the less wild it seems. That doesn't mean I will ever get it done, but I will continue to think about it.
I have a dictionary app on my iPad. It gives a new word each day, with a definition and an example of the use in a sentence. My wild idea is to try to write a poem each day using that day's word.
Will I? Maybe. I will certainly try, but seriously folks, today's word is Furphy.
Definition Australian: false report, rumour.
Sentence example
I didn't mention your dad but I said it had probably never been more than a rumour, a furphy put about by Lew Broughton.

How do I write about something like that? So maybe, I will be a bit more picky and maybe pick one word each week.
